Garland ISD Spring Reading Challenge
Challenge Dates: March 6 – March 31, 2023
Where to start
The Garland Independent School District is hosting a Spring Reading Challenge for students from Pre-K to Grade 12. All Pre-K–Grade 12 students in the district are encouraged to read as much as they can on myON during the challenge period.
Time spent reading will be recorded automatically within each student’s myON account.
If students are reading offline, they should log back into myON with WiFi before March 31, so their reading activity is synched with their account.
To join the challenge, GISD students should log into their myON account using Ready Hub.
Winners
Students who read 400 minutes or more during the challenge will be entered into a
drawing and randomly selected.
There will be 6 Elementary winners and 6 Secondary winners.
Prizes: Bluetooth wireless headphones
Winners will be announced the first week of April.
