About the challenge

The summer reading challenge is available for all students in GISD and Garland, Sachse, and Rowlett Communities.

Prizes will be awarded to the Elementary, Middle, and High Schools with the most minutes read.

Students and community members will also be entered to win great prizes for reading!

1. READ!

All students reading 800 minutes or more will be entered to win prizes. The drawing will be LIVE on Twitter on July 25 at 4 pm!

2. Rediscover your world with a Reading Adventure!

Prizes will be awarded for students and families in each division. COVID-friendly options are available!
